Why They Both Matter

While some companies prefer one over the other, the truth is diversity, equity & inclusion(DE&I) efforts are equally as important as multicultural marketing programs. Having one but not the other reflects an incomplete strategy overall. A DE&I program helps an organization build a diverse and inclusive work environment internally as it relates to its culture, talent, management, operations and much more. A multicultural marketing program is made up of external efforts with the goal of reaching and engaging diverse audiences when selling products or services. Having such a program is mandatory in order to achieve growth for an organization, especially when half of the US population is projected to be multicultural by 2044. But what’s a multicultural marketing program without a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture that reflects the groups of people you’re looking to reach to identify with your brand as a whole? On its pathway to growth and success, an organization should have a diverse and inclusive in-house journey to then successfully build its multicultural marketing program by a group of people who are reflective of the audience they want to target. This webinar will offer both perspectives together in a meaningful way, connecting internal and external efforts in an aligned fashion, to better understand and share a common goal- we all exist together in our communities, our companies, and in our world.
