Dave Perkins, L.M.S.W., A.C.S.W., is the Vice President of Community Health Services at Matrix Human Services. Dave earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Michigan and is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers through the National Association of Social Workers. With twenty six years of experience working within the social service arena Dave got his start working at a runaway youth center with homeless teenagers, went on to provide inpatient substance abuse treatment to adolescents, and worked as the therapist in a residential program serving abused and neglected youth that had been removed from their homes. Dave has been with Matrix Human Services since 2012 directly supervising the health programs of the agency that include STD/HIV testing; case management, early intervention, home health care, and medical care to persons living with HIV; and Matrix’s mental health program.
