Michael is the Diversity & Leadership Development Learning Consultant, Organizational Learning University Human Resources, University of Michigan With a deep knowledge of the field and a positive attitude, I enhance the competencies of individual employees by designing and conducting learning programs that boost employee’s performance and promote an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
I perform needs assessment; liaise and collaborate with unit partners, leadership, and HR team members; design and deliver curriculum and learning materials; design employee engagement activities; and evaluate learning outcomes. In short, he facilitate the success of individual employees and leadership in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as leadership development. Michael has 12 years in Residence Education (Penn State University, Arizona State University, University of Delaware and the University of Southern California).
He also has 17 years in Human Resources (University of Illinois, University of Michigan). He holds a B.A. Psychology; M.Ed. Counseling & Student Personnel Administration. Michael is also certified in the following areas: Social Justice Training Institute, Mediation, Professional (PHR) & Senior (SPHR) Human Resource Management, Real Colors, Unconscious Bias
