Cynthia Taueg, DHA, MPH, RN Dr. Cynthia Taueg is Vice President of Community Based Health Services for St. John Providence where she is responsible for oversight of numerous outpatient and community based services and programs including but not limited to School-Based Health Centers, Faith Community Nursing and Infant Mortality Reduction Program.

Also, she on the serves Detroit Wayne County Mental Health Authority, Advantage Health Centers andthe Inter-Faith Health & Hope Coalition Boards.

She is the recipient of numerous local and national awards including the American Medical Association’s Nathan Davis Award, the Greater Detroit Area Health Council’s Sy Gottlieb Award and the Black Caucus Foundation of Michigan Community Service Award.

She graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. Later she received a Masters Degree in Public Health from the University of Michigan and Doctorate in Health Administration (DHA) from Central Michigan University. Cynthia resides in Detroit with her husband and has two adult children.
