Veterans Affairs appointed Dr. Tiffany A. Love, Deputy Associate Director for Patient Care Services (DADPCS) at Overton Brooks Veterans Affairs Medical Center (OBVAMC) in October 2013. As the Deputy ADPCS, Dr. Love has championed diversity in the healthcare workforce. She is currently serving in a detail assignment with the Office of Community Care, Clinical Integration in Veterans Affairs Central Office, assisting with the implementation of the new VA Care legislation enterprise wide.

Dr. Love is an active board member of several prestigious organizations. She currently serves as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors for the Healthcare Diversity Council, an Executive Director of the Case Western Reserve University, Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing Alumni Association, and Director for District 4 of the Louisiana American College of Healthcare Executives(ACHE).

Dr. Love has advanced the accomplishments of ACHE, creating two inaugural diversity and inclusion committees, for the state of Louisiana and nationally for the Veterans Affairs ACHE Regent’s Advisory Council. As Director for District 4, she has contributed to the Executive Diversity Career Navigator website, offering mentoring advise to diverse healthcare executives.

Dr. Love speaks nationally on the importance of diversity in healthcare leadership. She serves as faculty for the Harvard Medical School Career Advancement and Leadership Skills for Women in Healthcare Leadership workshop. She has spoken at the Academy Health Annual Research Meeting and the National Institute of Health serving as a subject matter expert providing recommendations for mentoring diverse healthcare researchers. And she routinely speaks for ACHE, speaking at the ACHE Chapter Leader Conference after receiving the Regent’s Award for chapter accomplishments in diversity, on national webinars to boost chapter efforts in diversity and is scheduled to speak at ACHE Congress on mentoring diverse healthcare Executives. Dr. Love has truly dedicated her career to promoting diversity in healthcare leadership.
